Not every company chooses to measure its impact<\/strong><\/h2>

In May 2023, Key Future became a B Corp<\/strong>, joining a global community of companies committed to using business as a force for good.<\/p>

But what does being a B Corp actually mean?<\/p>

It means undergoing a rigorous assessment process that examines the company\u2019s overall impact, going beyond traditional economic indicators.<\/p>

An assessment that looks at the whole company<\/strong><\/h2>

The certification process is based on the B Impact Assessment<\/strong>, a tool that evaluates an organisation\u2019s performance across five key areas:<\/p>

  • Governance<\/strong> \u2013 how the company is managed and how decisions are made;<\/li>
  • Workers<\/strong> \u2013 working conditions, employee engagement and people\u2019s well-being;<\/li>
  • Environment<\/strong> \u2013 environmental impact and resource management;<\/li>
  • Community<\/strong> \u2013 the company\u2019s relationship with and contribution to the community;<\/li>
  • Customers<\/strong> \u2013 the value and impact generated for customers.<\/li><\/ul>

    This means that sustainability is not considered as something separate from the business.<\/p>

    Instead, the assessment looks at how the company operates as a whole<\/strong>.<\/p>

    A certification, but above all, a commitment<\/strong><\/h2>

    Becoming a B Corp is not simply about obtaining a recognition.<\/p>

    It means committing to a business model in which economic performance and positive impact can coexist.<\/p>

    For KF, this journey translates into a commitment to continuously improving its impact on people, the environment, the community and its customers.<\/p>

    From environmental sustainability to initiatives dedicated to people, from process management to relationships with the local community: every area contributes to building this ongoing journey.<\/p>

    Looking beyond results<\/strong><\/h2>

    B Corp certification is therefore a benchmark, but not a finish line.<\/p>

    Being part of this movement means continuing to measure performance, identify new areas for improvement and turn stated values into concrete actions.<\/p>

    For Key Future, doing business means creating value for customers.<\/p>

    But it also means asking what value are we creating for people, for the community and for the planet?<\/strong><\/p>
