KF and B Local Modena: Together for Our Community
When Sustainability Becomes a Shared Experience
Sustainability is not built solely through corporate strategies and environmental goals.
It is also built through people, relationships and concrete actions that engage the community.
With this spirit, the Key Future team took part in a plogging activity together with the B Local Modena community, part of the Italian B Corp network.
An afternoon dedicated to caring for the local area, but also to collaboration and sharing with other organisations that, like KF, choose to place positive impact at the heart of the way they do business.
From Movement to Action
Plogging combines physical activity with litter picking: walking along a route while, at the same time, taking care of the spaces around it.
Together with Focus Lab, Dispensa Emilia and guests from Porta Aperta Modena, the KF team walked along a section of the Diagonale Modena-Cittanova cycle path, collecting waste along the way.
A simple activity, yet one capable of turning an everyday action into a tangible contribution to the local community.
The Numbers Behind an Afternoon Together
The initiative involved:
- 14 people;
- 12 bags of waste collected;
- a section of the Diagonale Modena-Cittanova cycle path cleaned up.
But the value of the experience cannot be measured in numbers alone.
The event created an opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and collaborate outside the usual professional environment, strengthening connections between people and organisations across the local community.
Being a B Corp Also Means Building Connections
For Key Future, being part of the B Corp movement means sharing a vision of business in which responsibility towards people, the community and the environment becomes an integral part of the company’s activities.
The B Local network provides precisely the kind of space where these organisations can meet, exchange experiences and turn shared values into concrete initiatives.
Plogging was a small gesture, but it represents this approach perfectly: not acting alone, but building a network capable of creating a positive impact on the local community.

Sometimes contributing to change simply means starting with what is around us.
A path to clean.
A community to collaborate with.
An action to share.
