KF and Mutina Arborea: Working Together to Regenerate Our Community
Caring for Our Community Means Investing in the Future
For Key Future, sustainability is not limited to what happens within the company.
It also means making a tangible contribution to the well-being of the area where we operate and the communities that live there every day.
That is why KF is a member of the Mutina Arborea Forestry Consortium, an organisation committed to developing urban and environmental regeneration projects in Modena and its surrounding area.
The goal is to help create greener, more liveable cities by improving air quality, mitigating the effects of climate change and promoting biodiversity.
EcoGiardino: Transforming Urban Spaces
Among the initiatives supported by KF is EcoGiardino, a project focused on transforming urban green spaces into more sustainable, accessible and functional places.
The project also involved students from Alessandro Volta Institute, making them active participants in a process that began with design and continued through to the planting of trees and shrubs.
An experience that combines environmental education with the regeneration of local spaces, with the aim of improving the bioclimatic and aesthetic qualities of the area, supporting more effective rainwater management and creating a space dedicated to learning and raising awareness of environmental issues.
Regenerating Today to Live Better Tomorrow
Urban regeneration can have a tangible impact on quality of life: new trees and green areas help create shaded spaces, support biodiversity and make urban environments more liveable.
Mutina Arborea is working towards this goal, contributing to the broader European challenge of increasing the presence of trees and green areas by 2030.
For KF, supporting these projects means turning the concept of sustainability into concrete action within the community.
Because innovation does not only mean developing new technologies.
It also means caring for the places where we live, the people who live there and the future we want to build.
